The target of the legislator is to harmonize general accepted accounting principles. Due to this several reform laws and law projects to change German GAAP (e.g. the draft of the "Bilanzrechtsreformgesetz" - the Accounting reform law - from December 15th, 2003) are initiated and an approach to international Standards is the target. The discussion of International Accounting Standards (short: IAS/IFRS) is absolutly necessary. The international GAAP, which is discussed under the term of IAS/IFRS, is getting more and more important for all companies which provide voluntarily or by law group financial statements.
The introduction of the International Accounting Standards require a professional project management and a founded knowledge of current legislation. This means that in addition to German GAAP also existing tax requirements have to be considered during the project.
The consultancy with regards to the project management and realisation of IAS/IFRS projects as well as Inhouse seminars are managed from us together with our partner.
